My professional background encompasses a variety of achievements in leadership as a safety professional to include: developing safety cultures through creating/implementing written processes focusing on safety, coaching and mentoring managers/employees in recognizing safety hazards and eliminating unsafe work practices. I am well-versed in building relationships and developing people to use their talents to be better teammates and employees. I have been successful as a change agent to improve workplace environments and get employees buy in with improving team relationships. I am a strategic thinker and believe my greatest asset is being a servant leader. As Certified Safety Professional with over 24 years of experience in the safety field my background is rooted in hands on experience from working with line level employees to executives. The following are a few highlights that identify my abilities: • Managed compliance and governmental safety/environmental regulations. Directly accountable for planning, developing, implementing, and administering safety policies, programs, and training for the company with over 350 operating locations in 45 states. • Improved companies OSHA Recordable Rate from 4.50 (Industry Average in Service Industry) down to 1.25. • Developed and managed full scale site safety audit processes to exceed regulatory agencies requirements. This includes corrective action plans when identifying areas of improvement.
