Paul Haney is chief labor counsel and vice president, Environmental, Safety and Health for USG Corporation, a manufacturer and distributor of high-performance building systems through its subsidiaries, United States Gypsum Company, USG Interiors, Inc., USG International, and L&W Supply Corporation. Haney received his J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law, and also holds an MBA in human resources and a degree in business administration. He joined USG in 1995, and has held other positions with USG including director, Employee Relations, and senior director, Human Resources. Haney is responsible for USG’s overall Employees Relations strategy, as well as the Global Safety function, including Occupational and Environmental Safety. His areas of expertise include safety, health, labor relations, performance management, human resources strategy, employee engagement, talent management and organizational design.
