Joel joined Lend Lease in August of 2003 as a Senior Environmental Health and Safety Professional. He has worked on a wide range of projects, varying in size and complexity, being promoted through the ranks to a Corporate Role working in New York City. Joel was an integral part of the growth of Lend Lease’s Boston office and over the past 8 years in Special Operations in New York. Joel’s leadership and passion for EH&S were recognized in 2003 when he was asked to be the Senior Facilitator for the Lendlease Safety Academy. Now as Environmental Health & Safety Director for Lend Lease’s first Integrated Project in the US, Joel’s personal goal is ensuring that the project being constructed on a Brownfields site is a environmental success, in addition to our subcontractors and vendors, going home safely every day. Since our focus on providing an Incident & Injury free workplace, we have seen a tremendous transformation in the behavior of the people on our projects resulting in positive safety results.
