Joe is a Senior Vice President with HUB International. He leads a team of risk professionals in the Pittsburgh area that deliver organization specific enterprise wide risk management solutions to their clients. For over 10 years, Joe worked in the private industry; construction, food and beverage, manufacturing, warehousing, and sales/delivery. In 2013 he shifted his focus to the brokerage side to share the lessons he has learned with as many organizations as possible. Over his 13 years of experience, Joe has zeroed in on identifying leadership opportunities, and accountability breaches within organizations. These fundamental misses, along with the unique habits and tendencies of each company, create cultural pitfalls that result in lost revenue, lower employee morale, and increased risk of injury or loss. Joe is a Board Certified Safety Professional, and has been recognized by The National Safety Council as a “Top 40 under 40” rising star of safety. He is an alumnus of Indiana University of Pennsylvania; he holds both an M.S. and B.S. in Safety Science and was recognized by Indiana University of Pennsylvania for their young alumni achievement awards, based on his work in the safety and risk field. Joe is an active member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, including past chapter president and a professional member of RIMS.
